Gift Registry

 

A gift registry is a perfect way to get started with cloth. Cloth nappies are a perfect baby shower gift because they are a gift that you can actually use (and who wants more teddies, dummies and blankets anyway)! All you have to do is give us your wish list of adorable cloth nappies and we take care of the rest.

How it works

When we set up a registry for you, you create a wish list of nappies that you would like and anyone who wishes to contribute can either purchase one (or more) of those nappies off your wish list.  Alternatively, they can simply contribute a dollar amount (that we can apply to your nappy wish list). 

To contribute to your registry, a purchase can either call or email us.  We will give those people a list of things that are still on the list and available to purchase.   

The gift registry will remain open for a set time period (no more than 3 weeks).  The reason for the set time period, is becuase if we stock the nappies on your list, we will take those items off our website (i.e. we will essentially hold them for you).  Holding nappies for such a time period attracts a cost to us and we therefore cannot hold items for more than 3 weeks.

For the same reason, there is a limit of $500 worth of stock that we will hold for you under a gift registry (excluding any items we do not hold in stock - e.g. nappy packages that we have to order in).   If you want any particular nappy that is not in stock we will put that on the registry list, but we will not order that item in until someone has purchased it.  If the particular nappy is not available from our supplier at the time someone purchases it, we will contact you to discuss alternative choices. 

Once someone has contributed to your registry list, if they have a preference of the nappy they wish to buy for you, we will mark that nappy as 'sold' and place it in your parcel for delivery.  If they do not have a preference of the nappy they wish to buy for you, we will apply the payment to the total of the gift registry and select nappies for them to the value of contribution.  If people contribute more than the total cost of the nappies on your wish list, we will give you gift certificates to that value which you can use at a later date, or we can contact you to see whether you would like to purchase any other nappies before the package is sent to you. 

Delivery of Purchased Items

Once the registry period is over, we will then deliver the nappies that have been purchased for you to you within a week of the registry closing (or longer if you have selected nappies that need to be ordered in from a supplier).  

Gift Registry Fees

There is a one off fee of $20 for postage, packaging and handling on the whole package. 

This fee is payable before the nappies are sent to you and if anyone contributes cash to your wish list, that cash can be used to pay this fee. No other postage costs will be charged for gift registry purchases (unless a contributor specifically wants us to deliver the nappy to them to give to you - in which case, they must pay for postage on that package).

Choosing what you want on your list

We can help you choose the nappies for your wish list if you like by either answering any queries you have by email or by meeting up with you for a coffee to discuss nappy combinations.

If anyone contributing to the list also has questions, we are happy to answer thier questions as well. 

Alternative to a Gift Registry - Gift Registry Cash

If setting up a registry seems like a lot of work to you, we can set up a fund for you that people can contribute to.  Essentially, contributors, pay us an amount of money (however much they want) and at the end of the Gift Registry Period (which can be up to 6 weeks for this option), we will contact you and tell you the balance of your fund.

You then can then choose what you want to buy with that money and we will place the order for you and send your order to you with a card that sets out everyone that contributed on a date stipulated by you (no earlier than 1 week after the end of the registry period). 

There are no set-up fees with this option, but you must pay postage on the package (at the flat rate of $8.95).

Rewards Points

No rewards points will be earned for purchases made under the gift registry as points are too hard to track when there are multiple purchasers of goods.
